It isn't much but a little. Think of all
times you had to write a Left and Right method à la BASIC
because the built in Substring behaves differently. Now this is done
and unit tests accompany.
There are lots of functions, for
instance getting the diff of two lists; it takes some time to write
and make bug free. I did it once for all.
Lots of functionaliy has become obsolete/unnecessary since the releaste of dotnet3.5.
Language is C#.
